Johnson Dogs Greet Wives of Japanese Ministers

This photograph shows two of the Johnson family dogs -- white collie Blanco and one of their beagles -- as they greet a tour group outside the South Portico on July 14, 1965. The tour group included the wives of Japanese Ministers of the Japanese Cabinet, in Washington, D.C. as part of the fourth meeting of the Joint United States - Japan Committee on Trade and Economic Affairs, led by President Lyndon B. Johnson.
